Love

                                        Unwanted.
                                        (Was  it  wine  or  stronger?
                                        Stronger,  no  doubt,  for  a  fetus).
                                        Echoing  misery's  dull  distrust—
                                        An  eros  gap.
                                        Wanted.
                                        (Sweet  grapes,  distilled—
                                        To  tempt  a  long-parched  thirst).
                                        Sipping  hope's  erudite  trust—
                                        An  agape  gasp.
