Under  the  Influence

                                        Is  God  in  a  glass  of  wine?
                                        Grape  juice  so  refined.
                                        A  chocolate  bar?
                                        Cocoa  so  demeraradly  marred.
                                        A  birdsong  upon  the  lilac  bush?
                                        Tidings  so  exponentially  hushed.
                                        A  numbing  of  proverbial  logic?
                                        So  irresistibly  demagogic.
                                        Is  God  in  a  glass  of  wine?
